EASTENDERS actress Lucy Benjamin has hinted that her character has unfinished business with Phil Mitchell.
The 49-year-old is returning to the soap next month – 18 years after she infamously shot Phil (Steve McFadden) – and he might need to watch his back.
She told The Mirror: “There’s more of what you’d hope to come.
“She always causes trouble. People ask me all the time to go back and sort Phil out.
“I’m proud to have been the person to have pulled the trigger in that iconic storyline – I know several have shot him since but I was first. It’s incredible how people still remember it.”
Lucy’s character last appeared on the BBC soap in 2017 but she is famed for the gripping 2001 whodunnit shooting.

More than 22 million people tuned in to find out that Lisa was the one to pull the trigger on Phil – the father of her daughter look.
She will be returning to Walford after discovering that her daughter Louise (Tilly Keeper) is pregnant.
Having previously tried to kidnap Louise, Lisa returns to make sure her daughter is being looked after well by her dad.
Lucy was spotted filming in June alongside Patsy Palma, who briefly returned as Bianca – as well at Tamzin Outhwaite who plays Mel.
Last night the BBC soap gave fans the first look at Lisa’s return to the soap in their dramatic wedding week trailer.
In the trailer she is seen telling Mel: “He is being set up, and I need help getting him out of the country.”
