S Club star Bradley McIntosh reveals his cousin, 21, was knifed to death on Saturday night in Maidstone stabbing
S CLUB star Bradley McIntosh has paid tribute to his cousin who was stabbed to death at the weekend.
Bradley, 38, revealed during a gig that his relative Andre Bent, 21, was fatally knifed in Maidstone, Kent in the early hours of Sunday.
He shocked revellers at the Sunshine Festival, Upton-upon Severn, Worcestershire by calling for a minute’s silence.
Bradley said: “I’d rather be here performing for you Worcester, than moping at home.
“But please can we have a minute’s silence for my cousin.”
His heartbreaking confession saw fans bow their heads in memory of Andre, who was from London.
Today, Bradley’s uncle and agent Steve McIntosh told Sun Online: “Andre was a great guy, a great young guy.
I’d rather be here performing for you Worcester, than moping at home. But please can we have a minute’s silence for my cousin

“He was studying at uni, in his second year and wasn’t in a gang or anything. He was just a great young guy with a bright future ahead of him.”
Four men have been charged with violent disorder following the incident in Maidstone, Kent, at around 3am on Sunday.
Footage shared on social media shows a number of altercations erupting as bystanders attempt to intervene.
Moments later a crowd gathers around one man who appears to be lying on the floor injured.
Police were called to the area following reports of a disturbance.
When they arrived they found the victim dead at the scene.
