UNAI EMERY’s big-spending Arsenal are ready for another Europa League campaign.
The Gunners have splashed the cash this summer after defeat to Chelsea in last season’s final and would love to go one better this term come May.
Who can Arsenal face in the Europa League?
LAST year’s beaten finalists, the Gunners are heading into their third-straight Europa League campaign.
All efforts this year are geared towards getting back into the Champions League – and one route into that showpiece is by lifting this trophy.
Both Arsenal and Manchester United have been seeded in Pot One of the draw – and Scottish rivals Celtic and Rangers could offer the potential of a seriously tricky Battle of Britain tie.
Remember, teams from the same country can’t be drawn in the same group.
The final qualifying ties are set for TONIGHT, August 29 – after that, the confirmed pots will be released for tomorrow’s draw.
Once they have been decided, SunSport will update the possible combinations.
Currently, confirmed sides for the Europa League are:
- Sevilla
- Getafe
- Arsenal
- Roma
- Man Utd
- Dynamo Kiev
- Besiktas
- Basel
- Sporting Lisbon
- CSKA Moscow
- Wolfsburg
- Mönchengladbach
- Lazio
- Rennes
- St-Etienne
- Olexandriya
- Standard Liege
- Besiktas
- Lugano
