ELLIE Goulding is set to marry her fiancé Caspar Jopling tomorrow – and it looks like it’s going to be a right royal affair.
The singer, 32, has reportedly hired the events company that organised both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s wedding receptions.
According to HELLO!, Ellie and art dealer Caspar, 27, will say their vows at York Minster cathedral.
They’re thought to be holding the reception at nearby Castle Howard, with snaps emerging of huge marquees being built in the grounds earlier this week.
Judging by some of the items being unloaded ahead of the big day, the bash will have a “festival” theme.
The occasion has been planned by Fait Accompli, one of the world’s leading international event organisers.
In September 2018, Vogue reported that the company had helped to arrange several royal wedding receptions – including Prince William and Kate and Prince Harry and Meghan’s.
Interestingly, Ellie performed a rendition of Elton John’s Your Song for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first dance at Buckingham Palace in 2011.
Harry and Meghan held their reception at Frogmore House, where guests danced to DJ Idris Elba and watched an outdoor fireworks display.
Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton’s reception was also organised by Fait Accompli, where attendees are believed to have enjoyed a flypast by a Spitfire plane.
Not only that, but the company – which is based in London – was said to be a favourite of Princess Diana’s.
According to reports, she often asked them to help organise gala events at Buckingham Palace.
Castle Howard – which appeared in TV show Brideshead Revisited – has long thought to be where Ellie and Caspar will celebrate their nuptials.
Pictures showed up to 50 people building various structures within the grounds, including a huge marquee beside the ornate Atlas Fountain.
Elsewhere, workers were seen building two “sleep zones” of tipi tents – one within the Rose Garden and one beside it.
Other snaps saw deliveries of urinals, people trimming bushes and trees on the grounds and putting up lights inside the main marquee.
There were also piles of large wicker baskets and other wicker furniture.
