LADIES, gentlemen and superstar guests . . .
For those who don’t know Justin Bieber, he has earned a reputation for being a total t***er.
Since marrying model Hailey Baldwin, Justin Bieber has massively cleaned up his act[/caption]
A decade of unforgivably poor haircuts, even worse tattoos and brattish behaviour on an epic scale marked his card as the man to avoid at every showbiz event.
The bloke’s wildest phase even saw him keep a pet monkey — which has reportedly never been the same since he abandoned him in Germany five years ago.
It now lives in a zoo where experts described it as “frightened and disorientated”.
Who wouldn’t feel like that after a few months with Justin, just ask Selena Gomez, Sofia Richie and a host of short-lived infatuations who briefly found themselves as the wannabe Princess in the Prince of Pop’s bewildering pantomime.
The Prince of Pop has had a rough decade, defined by poor haircuts, even worse tattoos and undeniably brattish behaviour[/caption]
So it’s even more of a miracle that, despite countless arrests, he has finally posed up for a mugshot worth having — alongside his beautiful new bride, Hailey Baldwin.
In black and white snaps from the photo booth at their swanky reception, Justin looks a new man, with a sensible short back and sides and a sharp suit — pop’s most precocious wild child has actually grown up.
Unaccustomed as I am to praising Bieber . . . he actually seems all right.
Sure, he’s still banned from China after the government there decided they don’t want to let in “talented but badly behaved entertainers”, and photographs of him skinny dipping with at least two stunning models will live for ever on the internet, but at 25, Biebs has settled down.
Justin’s rough patch also saw him get arrested and even banned from China[/caption]
And he left a trail of broken hearts in his wake – just ask Selena Gomez or Sofia Richie[/caption]
Justin drew a line under his years of debauchery at a gorgeous chapel at the luxurious Montage Palmetto Bluff hotel in South Carolina, US, in front of their parents and family — plus 140-odd pals.
They included Ed Sheeran, Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Katy Perry — who were treated to champagne bearing the couple’s names in bejewelled bottles.
But despite their best efforts, even Kylie and Kendall struggled to upstage the beautiful bride with a pair of figure-hugging sparkling gowns . . . they’ve both been romantically linked to him too, by the way, but I’m sure nobody worried about a little thing like that.
Thankfully he’s managed to settle down and tie the knot with Hailey, who even Kylie Jenner couldn’t upstage[/caption]
Their luxurious ceremony was attended by a host of A-list stars including Kendall Jenner, Ed Sheeran and Katy Perry[/caption]
Justin’s former flames have had plenty of time to come to terms with losing him after he quietly formally married Hailey late last year at a New York courthouse — but no fairytale wedding would really be complete without a speedboat ride, a touching nod to Justin’s naff past.
Sure, he’s got a lengthy rap sheet of showbiz crimes, and an ego that could sink a battleship but, for the first time, I actually want to be his mate.
Sure he’s still got an ego that could sink a battleship but if Hailey is willing to put up with it, he can’t be that bad[/caption]
The guest list
THE bash was star-studded but fairly restrained, with the guest list down to a neat 154.
Kylie and Kendall Jenner were there along with Ed Sheeran, Usher, Jaden Smith and supermodel Joan Smalls.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s missus Camila Morrone was also invited, though he was missed off the list, along with Katy Perry’s fiancé Orlando Bloom. At least she and Camila could hang out together.
Justin also included his good friend, and first proper girlfriend, Caitlin Beadles, who was there with her brother.
Sealed with a kiss
JUSTIN’s musical director, Dan Kanter, played guitar during the ceremony. There was a string quartet to greet the guests as they entered the reception before Grammy award-winning singer Daniel Caesar performed live.
And then, like at all good weddings, Justin and Hailey had a classic disco to end the night.
Guests were treated to a three-course meal, free booze and a crystal-encrusted bottle of Moet & Chandon champagne[/caption]
The newlyweds even booked out a whole bowling alley and put on a screening of their favourite film The Notebook[/caption]
EACH guest was given a personalised bottle filled with a soft drink to keep them going on the way to the church.
Cocktails were served after the ceremony and when they got to their table for a three-course meal there was a crystal-encrusted bottle of Moet & Chandon champagne. Free booze flowed all night.
After they arrived in South Carolina guests were given personalised T-shirts and they could have a go at cycling and shooting.
After the rehearsal dinner the couple had booked out a whole bowling alley and they also put on a screening of their favourite film, 2004’s The Notebook, with an ice cream and cookies feast at midnight.

Another Lewis chart-topper
LEWIS Capaldi’s chart domination continues as his album is so far the biggest-selling record released in 2019.
Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent spent six weeks at No1 and has sold more than 408,000 copies since it was put out in May.

Lewis told Official Charts: “I’m very proud of it, although I won’t lie, there’s probably a few stinkers on there. I’m only human. Hope you don’t hate it, it’s only my life’s work.”
For Lewis to claim the overall title of biggest-selling record of the year, he will have to outsell The Greatest Showman soundtrack, released last year.
That has clocked up 450,000 sales so far in 2019.
But given Lewis’ form, he could easily overtake that by Christmas.

Ric reality peck
IF Justin and Hailey’s wedding was the pinnacle of the showbiz world on Monday – the National Reality Television Awards was the leftover donner meat dropped into the gutter by the kebab-scoffing lower rungs of the celebrity circuit.
Geordie Shore no-mark Chloe Ferry led the sozzled pack exiting Porchester Hall in London after a night of cheap thrills and equally as cheap wine.

Ariana MTV nods
ARIANA Grande could be saying “thank u” a lot at the MTV Europe Music Awards. She leads the pack with seven nominations for next month’s ceremony.
I’ve heard she is likely to perform too because Charlie’s Angels, for which she has curated the soundtrack, is the official film partner for the event.

Mark bares all in shock biopic
IN his frankest-ever interview, Mark Ronson has opened up about his tumultuous childhood and how this still affects him almost five decades on.
The producer, who has worked with Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and Amy Winehouse, shares his story in BBC2 documentary Mark Ronson: From The Heart, which will air later this month.
Producer Mark Ronson has shared his story in a new BBC2 documentary, opening up about his tumultuous childhood[/caption]
He tells viewers: “I’d wake in the middle of the night. There were 30 people, ashtrays, cigarettes, people partying, people at the piano. I walked downstairs one time and remember seeing Christopher Reeve.
“What goes up must come down – you have a party, you get a hangover. I have memories of shouting and s**t breaking out – it’s like, ‘Oh f**k, there’s fighting’.”
His dad Laurence, a music manager, and mum Ann broke up when he was five, and Mark wonders if that is why he’s yet to settle down again since the end of his marriage to French actress Josephine De La Baume in 2017.
He said of his parents’ split: “I remember getting into bed and my mum would be crying.
He revealed he turned to therapy to deal with his experiences, which still affect him almost five decades on[/caption]
“All these things when you’re five and don’t know how to deal with it. It doesn’t sound like the worst story but it’s why things affected me.
“It’s why I am drawn to emotionally fraught artists, artists I feel like I want to fix.”

After the divorce, Mark turned to therapy. But in the show he adds: “I imagined having a family at this time.
“You get this dynamic in the studio, like these forced emotional boot camps for six months, and substitute what you get from your own family.
“It’s like, ‘F**k, I wonder if that’s why I’m still in this place?’”
