A MAN has been arrested for shooting and killing his ex-girlfriend, her family and her new boyfriend.
The five ruthless shootings took place in a quiet ski town of Kitzbuhel, Austria, at around 4am on Sunday.
The 25-year-old suspect reportedly turned up at the chalet, which belonged to his ex-girlfriend’s dad, in a desperate bid to speak to her.
However her father opened the door and subsequently turned him away.
RUTHLESS MURDERS
Officers said he then fetched his brother’s pistol from his own home and returned.
It’s reported that the suspect used his brother’s pistol for the killings.
Just moments afterwards, it is believed that the girl’s father, mother and brother were all murdered by the gunman.
The father’s body was reportedly found close to the door, and her mother and older brother were allegedly shot while they were asleep in their beds.
Police say that the man climbed over an outdoor balcony to gain access to a locked second apartment, where the 19-year-old was staying.
After killing her mother, police said he climbed over a balcony into his ex-girlfriend’s room and killed the 19-year-old and her 24-year-old boyfriend.
Shortly after horrific rampage, a 25-year-old man, believed to be a former lover of the teenage girl, turned himself in to police and allegedly confessed to the murders.
He reportedly told police: “I have just murdered five people.”
The suspect and teenage girl had broken up two months prior to the killings, according to Austria’s Kurier newspaper.
