CORONATION Street actress Katie McGlynn has been pumping iron as she switches the Weatherfield cobbles for the gym.
The 26-year-old has told on her Instagram page how the ITV soap’s hectic schedule left her fitness on the back burner – and her recent snap shows she’s determined to get back into training hard.

Katie, who plays cancer-stricken Sinead Tinker, is set to see her exit air in hugely emotional upcoming scenes.
Sinead, who recently gave birth to baby Bertie with husband Daniel, will meet her end as she passes from cervical cancer which has returned for a second time.
The Manchester actress has already filmed her final scenes and is documenting her life post-Corrie with her recent gym snaps, which saw her bench pressing an 11kg weight in each hand.
Another showed her in her Tigers gym vest standing tall holding a weights bar, looking set to do some weighted squats.

She tied up her blonde hair in a pony tail and was captured concentrating hard as she got stuck into the session with her personal trainer, Olivia Devall from Ultimate Performance Manchester.
Katie accompanied the sweaty snap with a confession about how her intense new regime had left her feeling good – and able to resist cake, too.
She wrote: “I am feeling much better this week and feel like I am finally getting into the swing of training again.
“My will power is definitely kicking in, I attended a baby shower surrounded by cake and booze and usually when I have trained I think well fudge it and give into the cake!
