STUNNING pictures show RAF Typhoon fighter jets complete an iconic flypast over Kuala Lumpar.
The jets, along with personnel from Number II (Army Co-Operation) Squadron, RAF Lossiemouth deployed to Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Butterworth in Penang, Malaysia.
The flyovers were part of an annual exercise conducted by the forces of the Five Powers Defence Arrangement (FDPA), a defence agreement between the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Singapore, all members of the Commonwealth.
Photos of the event show crew members preparing to take off and the jets passing the Malaysian capital’s iconic Petronas Towers, once the tallest buildings in the world.
The Ministry of Defence said the exercise was carried out “to enhance the operability and mutual co-operation among the FPDA nations”.
