Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway admits she’s ‘sweating’ over I’m A Celeb role after she was confirmed to star
GOOD Morning Britain host Kate Garraway admitted she was “sweating” as she was grilled over her role on this year’s I’m A Celebrity.
The presenter giggled nervously and appeared sheepish as talk of her signing up for ITV reality series came up, hours after The Sun exclusively confirmed the mum of two will head Down Under this winter.
Kate, 52, was quizzed by co-host Ben Shephard on Monday’s show, who approached the mater from a variety of questions to try to catch her out.
Talking of being a contestant on the show Kate skirted around the issue and said: “I heard that, I heard it was confirmed.”
As the conversation continued, she added: “I don’t know how much … look, I am sweating.”
Point blank refusing to confirm or deny, she had said earlier: “Even if I was doing it, I couldn’t say I was doing it.
“Even if I wasn’t, you’re not allowed to say ‘I am not doing it.'”
Giving a glimpse as to how she might fare in the gruesome challenges, she added: “I don’t like heights.
“I don’t like the dark. I don’t like camping, even in a tent.”
Meanwhile, Kate’s pal and co-host Ben joked Kate’s children would love for her to join the reality series, to which she said: “They would love me to do it.”

Ben quipped: “There’s a lot of people that would love you to do the show.”
The Sun this weekend reported how the breakfast TV favourite will join hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly this year.
It confirmed she had already booked time off work to clear her schedule.
She had been in talks to enter last year but turned down a big-money offer because of her hectic schedule.
But the telly anchor has now agreed to enter the show and will fly out to Australia in the coming weeks.
