THE Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus has revealed how “mind-blowing” season 10 plots left the show’s crew “freaking out”.
The 50-year-old actor plays Daryl Dixon in the hit AMC horror drama series, and speaking at the ACE Comic Con Midwest, he teased fans about what’s to come in series 10.
He said: “I hope you’re excited for The Walking Dead because this season’s fricking crazy.
“It’s so good this season. ‘There are things that are gonna happen this season that are mind-blowing, and the sets are huge, it’s just nuts.
“Everybody on our crew, who have been there for 10 years, are freaking out over this season.
“And they’re kinda hard to phase, ‘cause they’re there every single day, but it’s nuts.”
When asked to describe upcoming episodes in one word, Norman replied: “Combustible. How’s that work?
“The whole thing is flammable. Just wait, it gets really crazy.”
Show bosses will be hoping viewers are as excited by the episodes as Norman and the crew, after the second episode of season 10 plummeted to the worst ratings in the zombie drama’s nine-year history.
The episode, titled We Are The End of the World drew 3.47 million viewers on linear TV, which is down seven per cent on the season 10 premiere from the week before.

However those figures do not take into account people watching on catch up services or the fact each episode is available two days in advance on AMC’s digital streaming service AMC Premiere.
Viewing figures as a whole are down for The Walking Dead compared to earlier seasons.
But, the numbers are by no means terrible, and the show is still one of the most popular franchises on linear TV.
