It’s after Craig told the Mirror: “Love Island is for people who aren’t celebrities, who’ve done nothing in their life and are trying to be someone and get something to be famous.
“But Strictly is meant to showcase people with talents in acting, singing, sports, journalism…not fame-seekers with no discernible talent.”
Responding back online, Alexandra said: “Very interesting article. I actually used to compete in Latin American AND Ballroom dancing.
“Get me on the show and I will prove you VERY wrong. @bbcstrictly @CraigRevHorwood.”

Posting an impressive video of her in training, Alexandra asked: “Is this talentless @bbcstrictly ????”
The Sun last year revealed Towie and other reality TV stars have been banned from ever appearing on Strictly Come Dancing.
Producers have imposed an all-out reality ban after wannabes including ex-Towie Z-lister Sam Faiers tried to use the Strictly name for personal publicity.
Gemma Collins had also begged bosses to give her a spot after gushing it would be a “dream” to appear on the programme.
At the time a Strictly source said: “Certain reality celebrities have been peddling these stories about being ‘in talks’ for the show when they have never been approached.
