For those who have fond memories of Findus pizza pockets, you’ll be pleased to know the Goodfella’s version looks almost identical.
The pockets feature a pizza-like base folded in half and stuffed with cheese and your choice of filling.
Findus’ range came in triple cheese, ham and cheese, and bolognese.
Goodfella’s pizza pockets are available from today in Asda and Tesco, and from November 4 in Morrisons, priced at £1.99 for one pack of two pockets.
We can’t see the pizza pockets being sold online yet so you’ll need to pop into your nearest store to see if they’re being sold.
Tesco has almost 4,000 stores in the UK and you can find your nearest one by on its website.
While Asda has almost 700 branches, all of which you can track down using the online store finder.
For Morrisons, you have just under 500 shops to choose from – find your nearest one on its site.
Findus products have slowly disappeared from UK shelves since the frozen food brand was caught up in the 2013 horse meat scandal.
Some products from Findus, which were subsequently recalled, were found to have 100 per cent horse meat despite being labelled as beef.
Another childhood classic that’s been rebranded in the wake of the scandal including crispy pancakes, which are now labelled under Bird’s Eye.
Goodfella’s and Findus, which now focuses on frozen fish products, are both owned by Nomad Foods.
MORE ON MONEY
If you’re a lover of all things spicy, we have more pizza news as Morrisons is selling a spicy pizza with ghost chilli sauce.
While Domino’s has launched a pizza topped with New York hot dogs and mustard mayonnaise.
For a pizza bargain, Tesco is selling a large pizza, two sides, dips and beer – all for £10.
