Strictly fans slam Kevin Clifton as he makes dig about getting to the final after Neil Jones is injured
STRICTLY’s Kevin Clifton made a dig about “getting to the final” after stepping in for injured Neil Jones on Saturday night.
But fans branded the 37-year-old dancer, who won the show last year with girlfriend Stacey Dooley, “bitter” after he was booted out along with Anneka Rice in week two.
Grimsby’s Kevin stepped in to partner Alex Scott after Neil was ordered to rest.
And before taking to the dancefloor with the ex England footballer, Kevin joked: “I’ve got to get into the final one way or another!”
One viewer tweeted: “That was a bit bitter Kevin lad”
As another joked: “kevin: had to get into the final one way or another … lmaooo he probably broke neils leg”
One more had the same thoughts and said: “Did Kevin push Neil down some stairs?”
However, other fans were impressed to hear Kevin had learnt the street dance routine within 45 minutes.

Kevin and Alex performed a Ghostbusters routine to the film’s theme tune by Ray Parker Jr and they received a score of 34 out of 40.
Before winning the competition with documentary maker Stacey last year, Kevin had reached the final four times.
However, he’d never lifted the glitterball trophy.
He previously danced with Susanna Reid, Frankie Bridge, Kellie Bright and Louise Redknapp, finishing in second place each year.
