Mum shares horrifying injuries of her baby son, 1, who was beaten to a pulp by ‘daycare staff’
SHOCKING photographs of a baby boy who was allegedly beaten up by ‘daycare staff’ have been shared online by his distraught mother.
Jesse Harris IV was one-year-old at the time of the attack in April last year that left him with cut, grazes and severely swollen lips but prosecutors have said they will not be filing any criminal charges despite his horrific injuries.

Prosecutor, Terry Curry, issued a statement explaining that based on the investigation, including a medical review, statements and cell phone records, the evidence did not support a criminal charge.
At the time, the boy’s mother Tiffany Griffin received a call from KiddieGarden Daycare who claimed he had been attacked by a two-year-old child.
She filed charges for the incident in April 2018 after she believed the injuries could not have been done by someone so young.
The childcare service in Indianapolis, Indiana, stated that they had left Jesse in a “safe sleeping environment” with another child.

The said an employee “periodically” checked on the two of them and contacted the boy’s parent after seeing his wounds, the IndyChannel reported.
Tiffany said: “When I saw my son’s face – I was like – If a 2-year-old did it, how could she have that much time to do that?
“I would have heard my son screaming from outside.”

Prosecutor Terry Curry released a statement about the case in May 2018 where he supported the daycare service’s account of the incident.
He said: “A medical expert confirmed that the child’s injuries were consistent with having been inflicted by another young child.
“The daycare employee who was responsible for the child’s care has cooperated in the investigation.”
At the time of the announcement, the boy’s dad Jesse Sr called for further action.

He asked why tests including DNA and drug screenings were not performed to confirm whether or not an adult was involved.
Jesse said: “Welcome to America, where a 1-year-old baby can be beat, and no one is held accountable.
“America, you have no soul; our children are doomed.
“Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it. Ignorance, allied with power, is the most ferocious enemy justice can have.”
If it was me (who injured Jesse), I would have been arrested.

Mum Tiffany also released a video stating her frustration.
She said: “I’m upset. If we were business owners, they would have helped.
“If it was me (who injured Jesse), I would have been arrested.”
Haben Ghebremichael, owner of the day care, told Associated Press at the time that a child attacked Jesse shortly after he was dropped off.
INJURIES SHOCKED STAFF
Ghebremichael claimed that staff separated the two children but later after the attack the “extent of the injuries” shocked staff.
The Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) closed down the location where Jesse’s attack happened, Fox59 reported in May 2018.
They cited seven violations that included “lack of supervision”, “child abuse not immediately reported by caregiver”, no drug screening, fingerprinting for a national criminal background check and more.
