The Canadian lodge, costing £31pp, overlooks Fox Creek, an area surrounded by vineyards.
The room is located in Essex in Ontario, with the room having panoramic views of the lake.
Inside the wine barrel is a double bed , TV and fan with a huge wall-sized window for the best views.
Two loungers and an umbrella make up most of the ‘terrace;, while a shower and a sink shaped like barrels are alongside a small BBQ.
The tiki bar, with a thatched roof and two bar stools, is stocked with crockery and wine for guests to take advantage of as well as a mini fridge.
The floating room is solar powered – although this means there is no running hot water.
Thankfully there is a fire pit to stay warm in the evenings.
Also provided is a 9ft rowing boat to paddle up and down the creek exploring the local wildlife.
The cabin is certainly popular, with the next available dates not until May 2020.
