A MAN has been stabbed outside a village Christmas fair in Kent this afternoon.
The victim was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after he was attacked yards from a family fate in Birchington, near Margate.

Emergency crews raced to the scene at 2pm.
Another man has been taken into custody by police.
Cops said the attack was not connected to the Birchington Christmas fair and extra patrols were put in place in the nearby area.
A spokeswoman for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called at around 2pm to reports of a disturbance in Crescent Road, Birchington.
“Officers attended where a man had suffered an injury consistent with a stab wound.
“He was taken to a London hospital by air ambulance.
“Police remain at the scene carrying out enquiries to determine the circumstances of the incident.”
Video footage shows Crescent Road being cordoned off on both ends by police, while forensics search the area for information.
Armed police and dog handlers were immediately deployed to the incident.
