WWE have confirmed the exits of Sin Cara and Luke Harper from their contracts with the wrestling organisation.
The pair had both taken to Twitter in recent months to request a release having been left out of several shows.
In a short statement on Sunday night, WWE announced the show had “come to terms” on the pair’s departure.
In response, Cara wrote online: “As of today I have been granted my release from WWE.
“Thank you WWE Universe it has been an amazing adventure.”
Both men had previously felt cast aside by the wrestling organisation and demanded an exit.
Joining them in exiting WWE are The Ascension, made up of Viktor and Konnor – real names Eric Thompson and Ryan Parmeter.
The Raw partnership were last seen in October when losing a tag team match to Chad Gable and Bobby Roode.
Now reportedly heading for All Elite Wrestling, former Wyatt Family member Harper, real name Jonathan Huber, posted earlier this year: “As of this evening, I have requested a release from WWE.
“This decision, as difficult as it was, feels right for myself and WWE.
“My goal in the future is to continue to grow as a performer and person and continue to make my family proud.”

Mexican high-flyer Cara has fought over SmackDown and RAW over the past decade.
Rarely given winning spots or utilised at all, the 42-year-old wrote last month: “I realised that I am trapped in a place where I am not valued as an athlete or talent.
“I have been loyal, respectful, a team player, supportive and patiently awaited the opportunity to show the world everything I can do.
“Unfortunately, after all these years, that opportunity never came nor do I feel that it will ever come as long as I remain where I am.”
