The Big Bang Theory fans baffled by ‘annoying’ cast habit of playing with food
THE Big Bang Theory fans have been left obsessed with one sticking point over their beloved sitcom – the fact that no one seems to ever eat the food used in their scenes.
Taking to social media, fans of the long-running sitcom have joked that the actors simply push the food around their plates and it’s been leaving them annoyed.
“After rewatching big bang theory for the 3rd time I’ve become obsessed with how every actor even the extras push their food around with forks in nearly every scene,” shared one irate fan on Reddit.
Another added in response: “This always irritated me too lol I missed the scene half the time watching them do it.”
“Am I the only one who gets annoyed when they don’t eat their food in Big Bang Theory and just fiddle around with it!!” tweeted a frustrated viewer.
others tweeted: “Anyone else ever notice how the cast all awkwardly play with their food but never actually eat it on #BigBangTheory?”
Fans are still obsessed with the show which ended earlier in 2019 but many have noticed a number of plot holes throughout its 12 season run.
One running joke about Howard’s mother makes no sense – because easy-to-miss pictures reveal what she really looks like.
The character was voiced by the late Carol Ann Susi and was never actually seen on screen properly during the show’s 12 season run.
However, she was mentioned often, and the main characters would regularly joke about how unattractive and overweight she was – yet there’s the small matter of the family photographs adorning the walls of the living room, clearly showing Howard’s mother to be neither unattractive or ridiculously overweight.
Another in season three saw Sheldon Cooper – played by Jim Parsons – trying to conduct an interview with a radio show when his office is filled with helium by Barry Kripke.

As Sheldon tries to speak, his voice goes up a number of octaves which made for a funny scene, but in reality it was highly dangerous.
In the real world, Sheldon would have been unlikely to survive as a room full of helium could cause a person to suffer from oxygen deprivation.
Thankfully he did survive the dangerous prank, and went on to amuse viewers for a further nine series until the show came to an end in May.
