A DAD accused of murdering his wife and kids with a baseball bat has claimed he snapped after being nagged at home.
Michael Jones, 38, insists he was subjected to “nagging, poking, and prodding” by wife Casei Jones, before her grisly murder in September.
Her decomposing corpse was found in a crashed van in Georgia, US.
Jones later led cops to the buried remains of kids Aiyana, one, Mercalli, two, Preston, five, and Cameron, ten.
The siblings had been either strangled or killed.
Jones told investigators that his wife accused him of cheating and started verbally attacking him.
He said: “It just got worse. Like little things all the time with her. She would come at me and we’d argue. It never really got physical.
“It was several hours of that kind of stuff. Before I knew it, it was too much.”
Cops suspect that Michael Jones murdered the victims in at the family home in Summerfield, Florida.
He then allegedly stored the bodies at his home and in his van for several weeks before transporting them to Brantley County, Georgia.
The family of Casei Jones had reported her as missing on Saturday and stated that they had not seen her for roughly six weeks.
Jones and her children were last seen near Ocala in Florida and she was understood to have been driving a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica.

Casei’s family reported she was missing along with her children on Saturday after not hearing from them for around six weeks.
Why they didn’t report her missing earlier isn’t known at this stage.
Her mother Nikki told Fox35 before her the bodies were discovered: “I’ve never ever been so scared.
