EMMERDALE’S Harriet Finch is devastated when the Bishop tells her he might be closing the church and that she’ll have to move to Essex.
The situation is complicated further when the church is robbed by a mysterious culprit.
Emmerdale fans know that Harriet Finch suffered a stalking ordeal in her church earlier this year.
The vicar was increasingly terrified of prank phone calls but the ordeal took a terrifying turn when she found herself trapped in the church.
The stalker was revealed as Dawn Taylor’s dad Will – who hates Harriet for living with him as his partner for years while working undercover for the police to bring him down.
Will also tried to crush her with a coffin as revenge for sending him to prison.
But the plot thickened for their rocky relationship after they kissed.
Viewers were baffled by the development in their relationship, given that he’d stalked and tried to kill her.
In an upcoming episode, Will continues to cause trouble for the vicar.
Will is stunned when Harriet reveals to him the Bishop might be closing the church and how she might have to move to Essex.
She also tells him it’s going to be a struggle to collect the money required for the repairs needed to the church.
Later, Harriet is horrified to discover that the church has been robbed.
The next day, Nicola discovers loads of money in her church fundraising bucket.

Harriet is then shocked to find her bible in the car boot and the penny finally drops – she suspects Will has been involved in the robbery.
Meanwhile, Dawn meets a social worker to talk through her next steps of regaining custody of Lucas.
Dawn is thrilled when Lucas runs to hug her and she leaves more determined to get custody of him.
At the Church, PC Swirling questions her and Will on the church burglary.
Later, Dawn overhears Harriet and Will argue.
Harriet’s torn over what to do as Dawn begs her not to ruin her chances with Lucas by turning Will into the police.
Will she dob him in?
