SCARLETT Moffatt has revealed she plans to make “healthy choices” in 2020 by cutting back on the booze and bad food, vowing: “New Year, New Me.”
The 29-year-old admitted overindulging over the festive period has made her think about her diet going forward.
In a refreshingly honest video on Instagram, Scarlett said she wanted to give changing her lifestyle her best shot – but didn’t want it to “rule her life”.
“I never thought I’d say this but I’ve eaten so badly this Christmas,” she told fans.
“It’s been so fun but this morning it was such a struggle to get out of bed. I’m normally someone who springs out of bed. I was thinking maybe it’s been the food I’ve eaten.”
“I’m not going to lie and say New Year New me and I’m only going to eat kale and quinoa, but I’m really going to make healthy choices and think about what I’m eating without it ruling my life.
I want to feel more springy in my step. I don’t drink much anyway but I’m going to make wiser choices with alcohol in 2020 too.”
Getting into the spirit of a fresh star, Scarlett shouted: “New Year new me! So let’s see how long it last! I’m hoping it does last the whole of 2020.”
The I’m A Celebrity star is following in the footsteps of many people this January when she tries to get fit for 2020.
Last year she admitted her weight gain had been down to being surrounded by people who failed to encourage her.
She said: “I know that sounds like an excuse but I was so busy, eating on the road! Was surrounded by not encouraging people – but that’s all changed.”

Scarlett broke down in tears in October after revealing a troll sent a handwritten letter to her home calling her “fat” with “a mouth like a pork chop”.
She said: “It has actually bothered us quite a bit. You feel that strongly about how I look that you’ve sat down and wrote a letter.
“I just need you all to be a little bit kinder because you don’t know what’s going on in people’s lives.”
