AN AMAZON shopper was left scratching his head after a delivery driver left his package on top of an 8ft high hedge.
Adam Kupiec, 34, said he was home on New Year’s Eve when he received a confirmation email from Amazon saying his parcel “was handed to resident”.
The puzzled forklift driver went looking for his package by searching the hallway by the entrance his flat and the garden, but could find it.
Adam, who is 6ft 2ins tall, said he discovered the package on top of a hedge when he returned home later that day.
The expectant dad told Metro.co.uk: “I was massively surprised because it’s so high. It’s at least two and half metres. I couldn’t even reach the parcel.”
Adam, from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, said he had to “shake the bush” to gt his parcel.
The package wasn’t damaged, but it did get wet in the rain, he added.
Adam had ordered about £40 worth of items for his baby, who is due in March.
The soon-to-be dad was expecting another package from Amazon that same day and decided to confront the driver.
He claims he spotted the driver going to put the second box in the same exact spot when he asked him why he did it in the first place.
He said: “I asked him,’did you leave the parcel this morning on top of the bush’ and he didn’t say anything.”
The whole experience left Adam considering cancelling his Amazon Prime subscription.

Adam added: “If you pay £120 for a subscription you expect to get a parcel straight to your door, not on top of a bush.”
An Amazon spokesperson said: “We have very high standards for our delivery service providers and expect every package to be handled with care.
“We’ve notified the right teams internally and will work with the customer directly to ensure the matter is resolved to their satisfaction.”
