Prince George, Charlotte and Louis ‘have only seen cousin Archie twice since he was born’
THEY may live just 20 miles away from each other, but Prince George, Charlotte and Louis have only seen cousin Archie twice since he was born, it has been claimed.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed little Archie into the world in May, and he was pictured meeting his cousins for the first time at the polo in July.

Part of the reason for the royal kids spending little time together, has been blamed on rumours of Prince William and Prince Harry drifting apart.
According to the Daily Mail, Prince Harry was informed he should speak to his older brother before going through with his plans to step back as senior royals with Meghan Markle, but “he made clear he hadn’t any intention of doing so.”
The publication claims: “Neither had it occurred to him that there would also be ramifications for the young Cambridge children, George, six, Charlotte, four, and Louis, just one.
“The siblings have only seen their cousin Archie, eight months, once or twice since he was born.”

Yesterday, Prince Harry had crisis talks with his brother, the Queen and his father about the future for the Sussexes.
Her Majesty released a statement saying the couple will be allowed to step down from their duties and spend time in Canada, and the distance could mean it’ll be even harder for the cousins to spend time together.
Since Archie was born eight months ago, he has been at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, while George, Charlotte and Louis are less than an hour’s drive away in Kensington Palace.
The Sun’s Emily Andrews appeared on Yahoo’s Royal Box where she explained that Kate and William chose to leave the kids at home when they first went to meet their nephew Archie.

However, sweet scenes were seen two months later at Harry and William’s charity polo match in Wokingham, when the Cambridge family were pictured with Meghan and Archie.
She said: “It was interesting that Polo match because it was the first time that Charlotte and George had actually met Archie, they hadn’t met him for two months so that was lovely.
“Kate and William had been to see Archie at Frogmore Cottage but they hadn’t taken their children with them, so that was the moment at the polo match where all three of the Cambridge kids got to meet Archie.”

She went on to say that Prince Louis appeared to be particularly popular with his auntie Meghan during the match.
She said: “And there are some lovely photos of Louis larking around with Kate’s sunglasses making Meghan laugh.
“I think that Archie is a little too young for his first smile but I think if he could he definitely would have been giggling.”

The Queen and Prince Philip both met Archie just days after he was born, while grandad Charles, Camilla, uncle William and Kate were all invited to the private christening.
Usually the royals all spend Christmas together in Sandringham, but Meghan and Harry opted to take Archie to Canada instead.
The young tot remained in Canada with his nanny while Meghan and Harry flew back for an engagement last week, with Meghan returning days later to be reunited with him.
It is expected Prince Harry will fly to join his family now that he has met with his family.
