Andy Murray jokes mum Judy is a ‘mad old lady’ after trolling her over Instagram fail
ANDY MURRAY has joked his mum Judy is a “mad old lady” after a hilarious Instagram fail.
Tennis coach Judy, 60, uploaded a cropped picture of mandarins that were arranged to read “hello” – with only the “E”, “L” and part of the second “L” visible.
She captioned the image: “How to say HELLO in Mandarin.”
But since the image was cropped so poorly, punters were unable to make out the joke.
Son Andy was quick to point this out and responded in hilarious fashion to the Insta post, writing: “Hi mum… you’ve done it again.
“Instagram is a visual platform so if you post a picture with half the content cut out it doesn’t work.
“You will get less likes and people will unfollow you (probably a wise decision on their part).
“This just looks like a few mandarins scattered on a table..
“I wouldn’t want people to think you’re a mad old lady. Please try to do better. Love from your baby boy x.
“Ps. This is your final warning before I unfollow.”
“SO HARSH”
Andy’s comment received over 350 likes and had tennis fans in hysterics, with one writing: “These boys are so harsh on us mums.”
Another posted: “Mother and son goals.”
A third said: “Harsh Andy… from one mum to another …this is funny Judy.”
And a fourth joked: “Such a helpful boy!”
Judy has since uploaded the full picture and has racked up nearly 400 likes, with the additional caption: “Ok. So I post part pictures regularly.
“This is especially for my younger son who always points out my shortcomings.”
