POWER returned to Netflix earlier this month and fans can’t wait to find out what happened to Ghost and exactly how the show is going to end.
But how many episodes are left before the hit series ends?

How many episodes in Power season 6?
Power came back to Netflix on January 6, 2020 for part two of season 6.
In part one, there were 10 episodes and part two will consist of five episodes before the series comes to an end.
As with the first part of the season, the episodes will air on Starz at 9pm on Sundays before being released via Netflix in the UK on Monday at 8am.
This will continue for the remaining episodes of the final series as we finally learn who shot Ghost – and whether he is still alive?

When is the Power finale?
As there are only three more episodes to go, the show will officially end in the first weekend of February.
It’s expected to air on Starz on Sunday, February 2, 2020, before the episode will be available to watch on Netflix on Monday, February 3, 2020.

Why was Power season 6 split in two?
Power producers have not revealed why the final series was split in two, however, showrunner Courtney Kemp has alluded to the reason behind the format change.
She hinted the last five episodes of the season would air later as the story of the sixth series is divided in two halves.
Speaking to TV Guide, she explained: “Like every season, episode eight is going to be a huge ending — big, big shift.”

She was right as at the end of episode eight we saw Tasha shoot her former best friend Lakeisha dead in her home.
“Episode 10 is cray. Then [episode 11] to [episode 15] are a way to explain what has happened.”
She went on to add: “The last 45 seconds of [Episode 15] are some of my favourite television I’ve ever done.”
Another explanation for the split could perhaps be down to a scheduling issue with Starz, as apart from the first series every season has had 10 episodes.
Adding another five to the series may have made it hard to fit around the channels other shows.

Is this the last ever series of Power?
Unfortunately, yes. Power, as we know it, will be over in just a few weeks time.
However there is a spin-off show in the works titled Power Book II: Ghost.
RnB legend Mary J Blige has signed up to appear in the new series.
Mary shared the news with a crowd at the Television Critics’ Association, saying: “This is probably going to be the most exciting thing that will happen to me this year.
“I’ve known so many Tashas, I’ve known so many Ghosts. I’ve dated so many Ghosts, I’m a huge fan for life, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it.”
But Starz and Netflix have not yet revealed the release date for Power Book II: Ghosts.
