FIVE bodies have now been found buried on a property in Tijuana, Mexico — and police suspect a “serial killer” could be to blame.
The possible suspect, who has only been referred to as “Santiago N.,” might have lured his victims to the property by offering cars for sale, officials said.

The fifth body was discovered Monday on the property in Tijuana, a southern border city located roughly 20 miles south of San Diego, California.
Last week, another four bodies were discovered — and two of them were the suspect’s mother- and father-in-law.
Maria Teresa López, 65, and her husband, Jesús Rubén López, 70, were found buried on the property — which officials say they owned.
The couple had dual U.S.-Mexican citizenship and traveled to Mexico on January 10 to collect rent money — around $6,400 — for apartments they owned in Tijuana.

The suspect, their son-in-law, is said to have collected that rent money on their behalf.
The day after they left for Mexico, one of the couple’s daughters reported the pair, from Garden Grove, California, missing.
The suspect also allegedly killed his father-in-law, Jesús Rubén López[/caption]
The Lopezes were found buried on the Tijuana property and the suspect allegedly confessed to the grim act, police said.
Cops believe the suspect might have killed his in-laws after fighting about money.
The other three victims have not been identified and investigators are trying to focus on people who have vanished after trying to buy cars for sale.
Officials said one man and another couple have disappeared in connection with their search, but said it’s too early to determine if they were the bodies found on the property.
“We can think of him as a serial killer,” Baja California Hiram Sánchez said yesterday.
“We have five victims with similarities as to the way they were deprived of life (and how) they were buried.”
Sánchez and Baja California Attorney General Guillermo Ruiz Hernández said they’re working to search for more victims on the property.
However, part of the land is covered in concrete, so it’s taking time to search underneath it.
As of yesterday afternoon, around 40 percent of the property had been searched.

Santiago N., who was arrested Thursday, was deported from the U.S. in 2012 after he was charged with robbery, prosecutors said.
He’s a suspect in all five of the murders, but Baja California Attorney General Guillermo Ruiz Hernández said they “believe there are two other people and we are looking for ways to capture them.”
Officials are also looking into whether Santiago N. was part of any gangs in the U.S. or Mexico.
