KATIE Price is launching a new range of beauty products to prove you don’t have to be rich to look good.
The 41-year-old, who was declared bankrupt last year, has told pals she’d love to open her own chain of salons helping train make-up artists and beauticians.
Despite the countless operations and cosmetic procedures she’s had – pals say Katie has always been keen to champion how people can look good without spending a fortune.
A friend close to the mum-of-five said: “She wants to show you don’t have to be rich to look good and you can dramatically change your look with a few simple tweaks.”
In a bid to save herself from financial ruin, Katie has some big plans when it comes to beauty and is hoping this is the year her businesses take off.
The pal continued: “Katie launched her own make-up range a couple of years ago. She got a lot of flak for it because they didn’t sell that well.
“But she was never been able to dedicate as much time to it as she’d like – until now. Katie has been doing a lot of thinking over the past few weeks about what she wants to do in 2020 and where she wants to focus her time.
“The make-up and beauty side of her life are one of the things she adores and is really passionate about. She loves doing other people’s make-up and teaching others what she knows and what she thinks looks good.
“Over the next few weeks she will be travelling up and down the country doing masterclasses.”
Katie, who was once worth £45million, will be raking in some much needed dosh with a series of £80 make-up masterclasses.

They added: “Katie can’t wait. She has had her make-up done by thousands of people over the years and has picked up some amazing tips which she wants to pass on.
“In the long-term Katie would like to expand the range she has designed and bring out lots more products.
“She’d also love to do more training in the area and is interested in the idea of opening her own salons and branches so she can give other people, especially young girls who don’t want to go to college or uni, the chance to work in the industry.”
The Sun Online has contacted Katie’s rep for comment.
