That marks a saving of just over 50 per cent, and takes the price of each can down to 44p each.
This is also a huge discount compared to buying a pack of four Strongbow dark fruit in Sainsbury’s.
A pack of four will set you back £5, which is only £1.72 less than the marked-down case and works out at £1.25 per can.
However, as this is a “manager’s choice” discount, it isn’t clear if the saving on the 15-can case is in all stores nationwide.
We’ve asked Sainsbury’s to confirm how many stores are stocking the reduced case and we’ll update this article when we know more.
Strongbow dark fruit is a crisp apple cider mixed with the taste of berries.
The canned version has an alcohol by volume (ABV) content of 4 per cent, which is less than the 4.5 per cent ABV you’ll find in regular Strongbow.
As always, remember to drink responsibly and be DrinkAware.
If you’re buying in bulk, this Sainsbury’s offer is the cheapest you’ll find for Strongbow dark fruits.
However, if you’re after a pack of four, Morrisons is selling the cheapest cans for £4.82.
MORE ON MONEY
Strongbow completely changed its cider recipe last year to remove artificial sweeteners, colours and flavours.
Meanwhile, Strongbow adverts have proved that Americans and Brits see the cider very differently.
Aldi’s own-brand cider looks just like Strongbow but shoppers are split over the taste.
