AN evil man tortured a helpless baby by twisting her arms and legs back “as far as they would go,” causing unimaginable pain to the girl.
Stephen Foster, 32, of Millbrook, Cornwall, admitted causing grievous bodily harm with intent in September 2018, and GBH without intent in connection with a second assault.

On the first occasion Foster squeezed the baby girl so hard he crushed her ribs.
Later he pulled the baby’s arm behind her head and twisted it as far as it would go, says Plymouth Live.
He also pulled the girl’s left leg backwards beneath her body, pulling the other arm behind her twisted leg.
A doctor told Plymouth Crown Court the injuries correlated with what could be expected from an adult involved in a car crash or falling from a great height.
The horrific injuries came to light when the girl’s mother called 999 because the baby couldn’t stop crying.
Paramedics were made aware of a leg injury, but after carrying out a full examination also spotted a bruise on her chest.
Heather Hope, for the Crown Prosecution Service told the court how doctors found a spiral fracture at the top of the top if the baby’s thigh.
She said the bone in the baby’s upper arm and a bone in her forearm were also fractured.
Ms Hope described all three injuries as requiring considerable force and stated they couldn’t have been accidental.
The barrister added: “[The baby] was in severe pain and inconsolable due to the injury”.
Foster handed himself in when police began to suspect the baby’s mother, but couldn’t say why he’s carried out such horrific acts when quizzed.
Judge Paul Darlow described the youngster as “particularly vulnerable,” jailing foster for six years.
He added the actions had been described by a probation officer as “abhorrent” and “inexcusable”.

A psychiatrist also described Foster’s behaviour as “purposeless”.
Michael Green, speaking for Foster said a psychiatric report had found no signs of mental illness, but pointed to “poor stress management skills”.
He added: “He has been open in trying to explain why he behaved in this way. It offers no comfort but he is a loss to explain whey he did what he did. There are expressions of deep regret of what he did”.
