LOVEBIRDS looking to spread some romance – and colour – on Valentine’s Day can once again pick up rainbow roses from Morrisons and Sainsbury’s.
The colourful blooms have been dyed by different coloured water so that each petal features a rainbow, and they’re certainly different to your traditional red roses.
Available now in both supermarkets – and shared on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group – they could be the perfect gift if you’re looking for something a little different for your other half.
Like last year, Morrisons is selling single rainbow roses for £4 each and for those looking to splash out, there’s a rainbow rose bouquet for £25.
The single roses are slightly cheaper in Sainsbury’s, where loved-up shoppers will pay £3 each.
Meanwhile, Waitrose is also selling bouquets of rainbow flowers for £25, the same price as what you’ll pay in Morrisons.
Morrisons and Sainsbury’s told us the limited edition blooms will be available while stocks last – and we expect they’ll be extremely popular today.
We’ve asked Asda and Tesco if they’re also selling rainbow flowers and we’ll update this article when we know more.
If you’re after something a bit more traditional, we’ve rounded up the best Valentine’s Day flowers including where you’ll find the cheapest bouquets.
Aldi is selling 10 roses for £1.99, while Asda isn’t far behind on price with their bunch costing £2 – although their website doesn’t say how many you get.
In terms of fancier bouquets, Asda is also selling 18 red roses for £10.
Surprisingly, prices actually drop on Valentine’s Day itself as supermarket try to shift surplus stocks.
