The new comedy has kicked off on ITV and brings with a star cast.
What time is Kate & Koji on TV?

It is on at 8pm on ITV.
This is the second episode of six to air.

Who is in the cast of Kate & Koji?
The show brings with it a star cast, which even includes an Oscar nominated actress.
Here’s who is starring on the show:
Brenda Blethyn as Kate
Brenda plays the lead role of cafe owner Kate.
She is described as a “working-class woman who runs an old-fashioned café in a seaside town”.
The actress is best known for her ongoing role in ITV drama Vera.
Brenda has been nominated for an Oscar twice, once in 1996 for best actress in Mike Leigh’s film Secrets & Lies, as well as best supporting actress for Mark Herman’s Little Voice in 1998.
Jimmy Akingbola as Koji
Theatre and film actor Jimmy takes on the role of Koji – an “asylum-seeking African doctor” who isn’t allowed to work in the UK.
Jimmy previously starred as the villain, Baron Reiter in Arrow.
Before that, he starred in Holby City as registrar Antoine Malick,
Blake Harrison as Medium
Actor Blake plays Kate’s nephew Medium.
He is of course best known for playing the hapless Neil in The Inbetweeners.
Since then he has been hot property in the acting world and has starred in numerous high profile shows including Prime Suspect.
Barbara Flynn as Councillor Bone
Barbara’s character is Kate’s lifelong arch enemy in the sitcom.
The actress meanwhile is know for starring in The Durrells.
In 2019 she also starred in Killing Eve.

What is Kate & Koji about?
Kate & Koji centres around a working-class woman who runs an old-fashioned café in a seaside town.
The show centres around her strong, if sometimes volatile, friendship with an asylum-seeking African doctor.
Although from very different worlds, Kate and Koji are similar in ways which they do not recognise, including a dogged determination to never back down.
