Gogglebox fans outraged as stars break self-isolating rules to film with people they don’t live with
GOGGLEBOX fans were left outraged this evening as stars seemingly broke self-isolating rules to film with people they don’t live with.
Earlier this week, Prime Minister Boris Johnson ruled that Brits should not leave their house unless it was for an essential reason – ruling out visiting people in other households.

So viewers were understandably confused when friends and siblings still appeared on the sofas together tonight – even though they are not part of the same household.
Best pals Jenny and Lee, siblings Sophie and Pete, and Ellie and Izzi were among the stars to raise eyebrows in this evening’s episode of the show.
However, it was also noted that Siddiqui patriarch Sid, who is in his 70s, was missing this week, with one of his other son Raza joining Baasit and Umar this evening.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer queried: “When was this weeks #gogglebox recorded? Not all these people live together do they?! #socialdistancing”
Another added: “I love #Gogglebox but many of these family members and friends don’t live with each other. #SocialDistancing”.
A third asked: “Surely the Leeds sisters, Jenny, Lee and the Blackpool siblings shouldn’t be there together?!”
However, Lee took to Twitter earlier today to insist that he and Jenny were self-isolating together in her caravan.
Seemingly putting himself and his pal in the clear, the star told fans: “Well what can we say it’s Friday and it’s still on #Gogglebox.
“Jenny and me watching together as we are both on lockdown TOGETHER, friends with no benefits I may add! An hour of laughs stay safe stay well.”
