MICHELLE Keegan pulled out of Saturday Kitchen Live to remain in isolation with Mark Wright.
The actress was set to appear on the cookery show today to promote the latest season of Our Girl.
While some guests turned up for filming Michelle chose to follow government advice and remain at home with the rest of the country during the coronavirus pandemic.
A source told The Sun Online: “Michelle’s priority is staying safe and following the government advice so she stayed at home in isolation with Mark.”
Michelle’s absence was a huge blow to the BBC this morning as she is one of the country’s most loved actresses for her work on Corrie, as well as Our Girl and Brassic.
Despite big names like Michelle pulling out of the programme, the BBC has said it is committed to keep the programme going.
A BBC spokesperson told The Sun Online earlier this week: “Saturday Kitchen Live is continuing, closely following guidelines from healthcare officials.”
Host Matt Tebbutt was instead joined by comedian Liz Carr via video call.
Michelle has been spending the lockdown in her £2million Essex house alongside husband and former Towie star Mark Wright.
She video called into This Morning on Tuesday, where she gave fans a glimpse of their huge property.
The star opened up about how she is coping with self-isolation and admitted she enjoyed spending more time with her husband.
