HAVE A FLAIR FOR IT
WWE star Charlotte Flair has admitted that it’s an honour to be compared to Randy Orton after revealing that she studies the Viper’s work, writes Joe Brophy exclusively for SunSport.
The Queen, who became a two-time NXT Women’s Champion at WrestleMania 36, also opened up about the pressures of delivering against Rhea Ripley.
Ahead of the unique behind closed doors Show of Shows Charlotte’s dad, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, had hailed former Evolution stablemate Orton as the company’s top guy.

And Naitch shared his belief his daughter is the “female Orton” because of her ability to make her opponent look good and prioritise the match over herself.
But speaking to SunSport, Charlotte laughed as she replied to Ric’s comments: “Ahhh my dad.
“Randy is someone I very much look up to and I study his work.
“But everyone knows my dad is my biggest fan. So, of course, he would compare me to Randy but that’s just an honour and sometimes my dad brags too much.”
‘ALL THINGS END’
John Cena has dropped a huge hint he could be on the verge of retiring from wrestling following his crazy WrestleMania defeat to “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.
The 16-time world champion, a joint-record with Ric Flair, returned to WWE in one of the most bizarre matches ever seen as he entered the Firefly Funhouse last weekend.
During the final moments of his loss, Cena’s own comments were used against him as he lost to Wyatt, with his “over-hyped” and “over-privileged” remarks from a pre-fight promo playing.

Now the 42-year-old, who has gone on to become a huge Hollywood movie actor, has suggested the match could have been his final one.
The Leader of the Cenation signalled the end of his WWE career may have arrived in a cryptic tweet.
He wrote: “All things end. When it’s time to leave, leave them guessing.”
Cena is well-known for his cryptic messages on social media, but his latest one is fitting after he was mentally tortured by The Fiend at ‘Mania.
He was forced to revisit several major points of his landmark career and even teased a heel turn, something the WWE Universe have wanted for years.

MUM’S THE WORD
NEW WWE Champion Drew Mcintyre was reduced to tears after an emotional chat with his former 3MB team-mate Heath Slater.
The 34-year-old finally realised his dream by becoming the first British star to hold the biggest prize in professional wrestling by defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania on Sunday.
That capped a phenomenal journey for McIntyre and his rollercoaster career.
He was released from WWE back in June 2014 following a poor run alongside Slater and Jinder Mahal as part of the 3MB stable.
The Scottish Terminator even watched WrestleMania 31 in a nightclub back home in Glasgow.

But after rebuilding his reputation on the independent scene, he returned to WWE in 2017 as part of their NXT brand before moving back up to the main roster a year later and going on to write his name into the history books.
Slater said: “The only thing I have to say is, brother, I love you and so happy for you, but you know… you know that all of your friends and family are happy, the WWE Universe is happy, but your mom’s very happy man.
“I can feel that, like, I can feel it, you know. I guess it’s starting to come outta my eyes. I know she is looking down, happy and proud of you man, and just remember that. I love you brother, I love you baby, 3MB baby.”
He quickly returned to raise his hand and did the 3MB gesture.
