However, the star isn’t letting his free time go to waste, volunteering to help out elderly neighbours with regular food deliveries.
And his good deed doesn’t end there, with the kindhearted star even taking the time to get to know their favourite things so that he can brighten their day with surprises.
Speaking on Lorraine earlier today, Craig explained: “The connection I now have with neighbours in my area is unbelievable, I now know them by first name.
“There’s a lot of elderly people who live close to me, I’m respecting social distancing but it’s difficult as you’re looking in a lovely lady’s eyes and she just wants a hug, so I’m torn.”
The star’s solution is lifting their spirits in other ways, continuing: “I give packages but I try and evolve packages after a while, learning things they like, the food they like.
“I think: ‘You’re wearing this colour a lot, let me put something in, maybe a candle kind of that colour’, so trying to evolve so it doesn’t feel monotonous just giving food.”
Craig also said that the weekly clap for carers at 8pm on Thursday nights has extra special meaning to him now he’s connected with his neighbours, sharing:”It’s a beautiful moment, we see we are all here for each other if we need each other.”
Craig has also been releasing uplifting new music for free via his social media channels, telling Lorraine that he reached out to his industry contacts to make it all possible.

He shared: “I just wanted to put music up for free on my Instagram, I felt it would take too long to get it together so I reached out to songwriters and producers.
“People need the healing of music now, not in two-three weeks, we need things to slightly take our minds off what is going on at the moment.”
The government enforced strict lockdown rules last month, after coronavirus was officially deemed a global pandemic.
Vulnerable people have been advised to remain at home for three months, with kindly volunteers and loved ones stepping up to deliver food and other essentials.
So far, the deadly disease has claimed the lives of over 20,000 people across the UK.
