MILLIE Mackintosh has been spotted for the first time since giving birth to a baby girl on Friday.
The Made In Chelsea star, 30, was spotted leaving hospital with husband Hugo Taylor and their little bub wrapped tightly in a pink and white flower blanket with a matching pink beanie.
Millie was glowing in a long black cotton dress, leather sandal and oversized sunglasses as she protectively loaded her precious cargo into the car.
Hugo, 33, was also on hand and lovingly carried the newborn while wearing a tweed jacket and blue shirt.
Their new baby was born on May 1 at 1.21pm and weighed seven pounds.
The proud parents told Hello! magazine: “We are delighted to announce the arrival of our darling girl who arrived on Friday 1 May at 1:21pm, weighing a very healthy seven pounds.
“We are eternally grateful to the doctors, nurses and midwives for taking such good care of us.
“Mum and baby are both doing incredibly well and we are looking forward to bringing our daughter home and spending time together as a family.”
Millie announced that she was pregnant with her first child in November and was expected to give birth in May.
She revealed the big news on Instagram on November 10, 2019.
Sharing a photo of herself holding her bump, Millie wrote: “So excited to announce that we’re expecting!!!”
In the snap, the Made In Chelsea favourite was wearing a stunning silk dress, which flowed down to the floor.
Her baby bump was front and centre, with glowing Millie beaming at the camera.
But it hasn’t all been sunshine and roses, Millie previously spoke of her anxiety about becoming a first-time mum amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
She wrote on Instagram: “With a little under 8 weeks to go until our daughter is due to arrive, the situation the world finds itself in with Coronavirus is very much a concern.
“Even though I’m fully aware that worrying gets you nowhere, it’s understandable to be anxious about my baby arriving during this time, our natural instinct is to protect!”
Millie continued: “The final pregnancy stretch brings with it a whole wave of emotions and as I’m trying to get into nesting mode, the world around me is in panic mode!”
On Thursday, ahead of welcoming her little girl, Millie wrote: “Signing off for a while – looking back on the last nine months, despite its challenges, it’s been a real blessing.”
