HUNDREDS of Brit troops have been flown home from tours pregnant in the past 15 years, data shows.
At least 340 serving women were “aeromedically evacuated” for this reason since the system was put in place in 2006.

Our findings — revealed under Freedom of Information laws — mean many of the soldiers, sailors and airwomen may have flouted the military’s strict “no touching” rules on tours and got pregnant.
Others are likely to have conceived before going on postings to Iraq or Afghanistan.
Women are not required to take pregnancy tests before being posted abroad.
Those flown home include 194 from the Army, 50 Navy staff and 96 RAF.
Although troops are allowed relationships, male and female personnel cannot have sex while away on operations.

Even married personnel serving together on ships or in war zones are expected to follow the rules.
A military source said: “If two people are having sex on ships or while on ops, it will soon be public knowledge.
“It’s not good for morale. A quick fumble can lead to someone losing their career.”
