Speaking to the camera, the 35-year-old beamed as he shared a recorded message for the OnSide Awards, which were streamed due to the social distancing guidelines.
He said: “Hats off to every single one of you for surviving but also for thriving.
“These stories and these challenges, these daily challenges that you guys are coming up against are unbelievable.
“So many people will never understand.
“You guys have the strength to pull through.”
His words echoed that of Meghan’s when the Duchess of Sussex spoke about her own desire to not just survive but thrive in life.
Speaking in the ITV documentary after the couple’s trip to Africa, she said: “I’ve said for a long time to H—that’s what I call him—it’s not enough to just survive something, right?
“That’s not the point of life.
“You’ve got to thrive, you’ve got to feel happy.”
The message comes as the OnSide awards were streamed tonight – reliving those young people who were honoured for making a difference to their community.
‘THIS TOO SHALL PASS’
And Harry appeared nostalgic as he remembered the awards ceremony he had attended in London just last year before the couple quit as royals and moved to Canada before relocating to the US.
He said: “Just a few months ago we were all together in London at the OnSide youth centre awards and wow what a night that was.
“I remember meeting so many incredible people and hearing your stories, stories of strength, of determination, of resilience.”
But the dad – who recently celebrated his son Archie’s first birthday – urged young Brits to focus on their support network.
Speaking to the camera, Harry said: “I can only imagine in the last six weeks have made it even more challenging but this too shall pass.
“Before you know it, you will be back together again.
“Probably in a youth zone running around having the best time ever.”
Harry appeared casual, wearing a black shirt while sitting in front of a beige wall.
He and Meghan are said to have been residing at the eight-bedroom Tuscan-style home of Perry – a close pal of Oprah Winfrey – since March.
