A marble slab this size would cost a fortune to have it installed in your bathroom, but sticky back plastic can be picked up relatively cheap from any homeware store, including Wilkos and B&M.
Unbeknown to many, the self adhesive vinyl is actually water resistant too, so it will remain durable despite being in contact with steam and water.
But to ensure it remains in tact, the woman revealed that she’d put a sealant around it’s edges which will further help protect against water damage
She shared the transformation in the organising your home and your life UK Facebook group, with a caption that read: “I love fablon”.
People in the group were impressed by the new look[/caption]
Other members of the group were mighty impressed but the simple makeover with many blown away by how cheap it can be to transform a bathroom.
“Brilliant transformation, well done,” one woman wrote.
While another said: “Looks wonderful, well done.”
The poster revealed that she’d picked up the white marble vinyl from B&M for £9 a roll – and used two rolls to competently cover the shower surface.
