Coronation Street’s Lisa George charging fans £30 a pop for personalised video messages in lockdown
CORONATION Street star Lisa George is selling £30 personalised videos to fans during the soap’s shutdown.
The actress – who also appeared on Dancing on Ice – has joined the ranks of soap stars cashing in on fame by flogging the clips to fans.
Beth Tinker star Lisa will wish fans a happy birthday or just send a nice message in the video through CelebVM.
Simon Gregson is also selling his own videos to fans – but has been banned from mentioning the soap.
The actor – who plays Steve McDonald in the ITV soap – has been signed up by a company to offer the self-filmed video messages to his biggest fans via an online service.

And while Simon’s fans will no doubt be thrilled to receive a message from him – they won’t get one that mentions Corrie – or anything connected to it.
In a warning posted on the website, it reads: “Simon cannot mention character names/locations etc from the TV Programme that he is in!
“Great as gifts for birthdays, Christmas, weddings, personal connections and much more. You can watch, download, share, & keep your video forever.”
However it seems people are overjoyed by the recorded messages they have been paying for.
One wrote: “I appreciate this so much! Funny that Simon had a bit of nose issue part way through!
“I think my wife will find this video to be very special.”
Another added: “Thank you so very much for the personal video! I was all smiles watching and listening to what Simon had to say love this idea and I hope that a lot more people get involved!
“A wonderful early birthday present to me!”
