SHOCKING photos show the moment a little girl was dragged away from a 400-foot sheer drop on a cliff-top in East Sussex.
The photos show the child peering over the drop at Birling Gap.
Luckily, a group of adults stands nearby – and a woman who spotted the girl’s curiosity in time grabbed her and pulled her back from the edge.
The heart-stopping moment was captured on camera today as Brits enjoying relaxed lockdown laws head to beaches and parks in temperatures of up to 23C.
Birling Gap is a local beauty spot – but it’s well-known as a dangerous area for some foolish visitors.
In 2018, adults were caught on film dangling over the edge of the cliff in pursuit of the perfect photo.
Cliff collapses have regularly been reported in the area, with warning signs set up along the tourist paths.
But they appear not to be doing enough to dissuade daring tourists from keeping away from the edge.
More than 350,000 people visit the cliffs at Birling Gap and Seven Sisters cliffs each year.
Officials from the National Trust, which has responsibility for the site, said: “The Seven Sisters and the chalk cliffs are constantly changing.
“This creates the beautiful coastline that we see today.

“We advise visitors to act sensibly when visiting the area and to stay away from the cliff edge. We have permanent signs in place warning visitors of the danger.
