KYLIE Jenner has been dropped from Forbes’ list of billionaires and accused of lying about her status.
The magazine said it had conducted a deep-dive into Jenner’s wealth and determined she is no longer a billionaire after she had “inflated the size and success of her business for years”.
What is Kylie Jenner’s net worth?
Kylie has barely left the spotlight since appearing on Keeping Up With The Kardashians at the tender age of 10.
She’s made a fortune monetising on her fame, all while keeping fans enthralled in her love life and surgery scandals.
The 22-year-old, who was born August 10, 1997, has now been revealed as the RICHEST of the Kardashian empire.
In 2019 Forbes claimed Kylie is the youngest self-made billionaire ever, and estimated her net worth as $1billion (around £828million).
She also listed at No23 on Forbes’ America’s Richest Self-Made Women list and was able to maintain her billionaire status in 2020.
However, on May 29 the magazine said it had reevaluated Jenner’s wealth and concluded that she was no longer a billionaire.
Forbes said “a more realistic” account of her “personal fortune” places it at just under $900million.
Is Kylie Jenner a billionaire?
According to Forbes, Kylie Jenner is no longer a billionaire.
However, Jenner has hit back at the claims by Forbes and denied what they have said.
She wrote on Twitter: “What am I even waking up to. I thought this was a reputable site.
“All I see are the a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions lol.
“I’ve never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. period.”
She added: “‘Even creating tax returns that were likely forged,’ that’s your proof?
“So you just THOUGHT they were forged? Like actually what am I reading.”
The Sun has reached out to Kylie and Kris Jenner’s reps for comment, but they didn’t immediately respond.
What are the Forbes claims?
In a report published on Friday, M29 Forbes said it had recalculated Jenner’s alleged worth and concluded that her fortune stood at just under $900millon.
The writers claimed: “Kylie’s business is significantly smaller, and less profitable, than the family has spent years leading the cosmetics industry and media outlets, including Forbes, to believe.”
The article then accused the Kardashians of going to “unusual” lengths to prove Jenner’s wealth, including forging documents.
However, Forbes admitted they could not prove any documents were forged.
The writers also estimated that Kylie Cosmetics was a smaller brand than claimed, and speculated the company inflated the numbers to get the coveted number one spot on the Forbes list.
The article alleged: “While we can’t prove that those documents were fake (though it’s likely), it’s clear that Kylie’s camp has been lying.”
How did Kylie Jenner make her money?
Keeping Up With The Kardashians
There’s no doubt that much of Kylie’s wealth has been built on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians franchise.

But looking a little closer reveals that many of the posts are actually marketing ploys.
Kylie is regularly paid to promote different products, in images which she captions #ad.

The social media sensation has harnessed her huge audience by launching two popular apps.
Her work towards the popular Kylie Jenner app and the Kendall & Kylie game has undoubtedly been lucrative.
Staggeringly, Apptopia believes that her solo release saw 1.75 million downloads the first week it was live.
However, Kylie no longer has the most liked Instagram image ever, thanks to a photo of an egg which attracted 39 million likes.
Kylie Cosmetics
The infamous Kylie lip kits have become renowned for selling out in a matter of SECONDS.
If this wasn’t proof enough that they’re in high demand, some of the liquid lipsticks have appeared on eBay for hundreds of pounds – and up to ten times the asking price.

Kylie owns 100 per cent of the company.
