However, while some fans were loving the hilarious insights to a few of our favourite celebs, others accused them of breaking the government’s two-metre social distancing rule.
Taking to Twitter, one miffed fan wrote: “So why the celebs sitting in each others houses and I stood outside in the cold, social distancing, talking to my kids last night?”
“Where is the 2M social distancing if some of the celbs friends are living with them. I am sure that celebs have the same rules as us or am I mistaken,” ranted another.
A third penned: “The Channel 4 announcer said before the show ‘following social distancing guidelines’ but they absolutely f***ing aren’t. I’m not allowed my nan in my living room, regardless of how far away from me she remains.”
And a fourth fumed: “So I can’t go into my Grandma’s house, even at a distance, but these celebrities can go into each other’s households and be paid to watch TV?! Ok then… and you announced you’re sticking to the social distancing guidelines? OK THEN…”
On tonight’s episode of Celebrity Gogglebox, Radio 1 Dj Nick Grimshaw was joined by his niece Liv, Denise van Outen returned again with her partner Eddie and former EastEnders actor Martin Kemp was joined by his I’m A Celeb contestant son, Roman.
Also on the sofa were Loose Women star Stacey and boyfriend Joe Swash as well as This Morning faves Eamonm Holmes and wife Ruth Langsford.
Studio Lambert, who makes the hit show, has changed the way Gogglebox is filmed with the cast operating their own cameras and crew sitting outside in vans to maintain social distancing.

The Government last month a raft of new measures that would gradually ease lockdown for England – after meeting the Government’s five tests.
Friends and family are able to meet in parks and gardens in socially distanced groups of six and people would be able to see “both parents at once, or both grandparents at once”.
Schools, outdoor retailers and car showrooms will also be allowed to open ahead of a greater opening of non-essential shops on June 15.
And in a quirk of the new rules, it is now technically illegal to have sex with someone from a different household in your own home.
