Game of Thrones’ Grey Worm actor signs with record label in major career shake-up
GAME of Thrones actor Jacob Anderson, who played eunuch fighter Grey Worm in the HBO fantasy series, has been signed to a record label and is set to launch his musical career.
The 29-year-old actor, who makes music under the moniker Raleigh Ritchie, has already released his debut album and appeared on Stormzy’s 2017 number one album Gang, Signs and Prayer.
The Bristol born musician, who many will recognise as Grey Worm from hit show Game of Thrones has recently been signed to Alacran Records.
Jacob, who records as Raleigh Ritchie, said of his music: “I write songs for myself, to get things off my chest and process my emotions but then I release them and I don’t own them anymore; they belong to other people.
“I hope there is someone who listens to it and hears themselves in [the album]. I hope that makes them feel less lonely.”
Raleigh Ritchie – born Jacob Anderson – made his mark on the music scene after heading out on tour to support George Ezra in 2015.
