Is Phil Kayden’s dad?
EastEnders viewers were shocked last year when Sharon received the DNA results of her unborn baby.
The DNA test excluded Sharon’s husband Phil from being the father meaning that, unless Sharon had been having another affair, the father must be Keanu Taylor.
But despite seeing it in writing, fans are predicting that there’s been a DNA mixup – and that Phil will turn out to be the biological father of Kayden.
One fan tweeted: “If Kayden does end up being Phil’s, I’m gonna be disappointed. This past year would have been a waste. I’m pretty sure Mel got the results to the test anyway, saying Keanu was the father. #EastEnders”
Another added: “Imagine if Kayden turns out to be Phil’s baby?!? all the shit that’s gone down. Callum’s kidnapping, boat crash, Denny’s death! Ben’s hearing! Warehouse ordeal! All this might not of happened if Phil knew Kayden was his. Just a theory #EastEnders”
Might Mel Owen – or another of Sharon and Phil’s enemies – have messed with the DNA test?
With EastEnders yet to speak out about the baby’s paternity, fans will have to tune in to find out.

Would Phil want Sharon and Kayden back if he is the dad?
Fans were horrified this week when Phil referred to the baby as “that thing” before throwing Sharon and Kayden out onto the street.
Phil raged at her: “Sharon, I’ve tried, but every time I look at him, he’s a Taylor. I can’t have him anywhere near me.”
Would finding out that the baby is a Mitchell after all solve everything?
Fans will know that not being a blood relation isn’t necessarily a problem for Phil, who raised Sharon’s son Dennis as if he was his own.
But unlike Dennis, Kayden will be a constant reminder of Sharon’s betrayal whether he’s Phil’s biological son or not.

Will Sharon ever forgive Phil?
EastEnders are yet to confirm what’s in store for Phil and Sharon after he turfed her out onto the streets with Kayden.
But that hasn’t stopped fans hoping that she runs for the hills and puts her toxic relationship with Phil behind her.
One fan tweeted: “Sharon & Phil don’t love each other. They’re addicted to one another and don’t have anyone else. They destroy each other, hurt each other and secretly despise each other. That’s not love. It’s just a destructive habit they can’t break cause no one else would have them #Eastenders”

A second tweeted: “I find Phil and Sharon quite toxic #eastenders”
Another added: “Phil’s behaviour towards Sharon is EXACTLY why he is also toxic for Ben. Phil loves, sure. But it always comes with conditions. He cannot devote himself unconditionally because for that, one has to be selfless, something alien to Phil. He is too set in his ways to change.”
