Woman transforms a drab old shelf unit for just a tenner and people can’t believe how expensive it looks
A CRAFTY woman transformed a drab set of wooden drawers for less than a tenner, and people can’t believe the difference.
She decided it was finally time to tackle a DIY project in lockdown, so set about upcycling a set of drawers she had.
She shared a snap of them before the makeover, showing a four-storey tallboy with half the handles missing.
The woman hunted through her house for some paint, and found some undercoat and a satin finish from Dulux.
After sanding down the wood she slapped on the primer and then the white satin shade.
The finishing touch was some chic crystal handles which she picked up for £9.45, meaning the entire project cost her less than a tenner.
