The Met Office explains that low pressure to the south of the UK will “dominate our weather on Saturday”.
So expect plenty of cloud cover in the northeast, with rain targeting the north in particular.
Elsewhere will see sunny spells and showers, accompanied by “some thunder”.
However, it’ll feel warm and muggy for much of England and Wales with sunny spells but heavy showers or thunderstorms breaking out over both countries, especially in the west.

Unfortunately for those further north – in the northeast – it’ll be “cool and blustery” later in the day.
Meteogroup UK adds that much of Scotland will be cloudy with patchy rain but with sunny spells for western Scotland.
For Northern Ireland, patchy rain will clear to sunny spells later, and there will be “gentle easterly winds”.

As far as temperatures go, it’ll range from 15-25C across the UK.
Sunday will start off “still under the influence of the low pressure to the southwest”, adds the Met Office.
The agency describes the weather as “murky in in the northeast”.

But, the sun will make the odd appearance on Sunday – albeit in between showers.
Rainfall is forecast to be heaviest in the west and southwest.
By 4pm on Sunday the weather will be “very warm” for those basking in welcome sunshine – with temperatures hovering in the low to mid 20s.
