Prince William stuns shielding mum and cystic fibrosis sufferer son, 5, with surprise video call on BBC’s The One Show
PRINCE William delighted a five-year-old boy and his mum who have been forced to shelter inside during Covid-19 with a surprise video call.
Kaydyn has cystic fibrosis and made to stay indoors due to government health guidance on vulnerable people imposed 12 weeks ago.

His mum Leanne Mcveigh, 42, revealed her son was frustrated but now nervous about finally leaving the house.
But like thousands of people sheltering across the county the youngster is now allowed back outside.
And he has already taken two walks with his mum, in Corby, Northants.
SURPRISE CALL
They received a surprise pep talk from the Duke of Cambridge who chatted with mum and son on video call.
Wills, 37, also spoke with Shelby Lynch, 21, of Leeds, who has spinal muscular atrophy type 2, She needs to be on a ventilator 24 hours every day.
Due to her condition she is extremely vulnerable to catching the virus and remains on the government shielding list.

But has now been allowed outside and met her boyfriend for the first time in three months.
She said: “He had been feeling a little down so it was nice to see his face light up.”
The surprise video chats will be screened on BBC’s The One Show tomorrow night focusing on vulnerable people and how they coped with lockdown.
