Inside Tottenham dressing room for tonight’s clash with Man Utd as NFL facilities transformed to help social distancing
TOTTENHAM have revealed their stadium’s revamped NFL dressing room, to be used in tonight’s return to Premier League action against Manchester United.
Located on the opposite side of the ground to their regular home dressing room, Spurs will be utilising the extra space to accommodate social distancing protocols.
With NFL teams possessing huge game day rosters of up to 48 players, the American Football specific locker rooms at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium are much bigger than those used for football.
This will allow Spurs’ stars to maintain their distance from their team-mates, with only one in three specific lockers being in use this evening.
The Lilywhites have posted a video of the changing area’s transformation.
Initially still featuring Tampa Bay Buccaneers colours, fans can see the change in decoration into Spurs-specific branding.
And hand sanitiser spots have also been added, for players to be able to stay as clean as possible.
The NFL logo remains on the dressing room roof, however, which may provide some inspiration for Tom Brady-mad striker Harry Kane.
The Spurs and England man will make his long-awaited return tonight, having last appeared in the dismal 1-0 defeat to Southampton on New Year’s Day.
Another to return will be Son Heung-min, with the South Korean having recovered from a broken arm and also completed mandatory military service during the season’s break.
