JAMES ‘ARG’ Argent clearly didn’t watch much of Dancing on Ice when his on-off-on-off girlfriend Gemma Collins took part.
When the GC took part, she had endless rows with the judging panel and ended up flat on her face in a painful fall.

But it hasn’t put Arg off, who is in advanced talks to take part in the 2021 series.
Insiders say he has even started rollerskating in a bid to work on his balance ahead of being trialled on the ice next month.
A source said: “Dancing On Ice bosses are interested in Arg — he’s a lovely bloke and is a popular guy.
“They think he shows real potential but obviously he needs to prove he’s serious about taking part.

“His issues with drug use in the past have been well documented and there has been talk of him having to have drug tests if he signs up to the show to prove he is clean.
“He has told close friends about Dancing On Ice and said he’d love to get out and try it.
“Arg knows it’s not an easy show to take part in but he’s more than willing to give it a go.”
Arg admitted last month to The Sun that he was a cocaine addict and nearly died twice after two overdoses, despite him and his team trying to deny them at the time.

Hopefully this show and the bumper paycheque is a good thing and not another very slippery mistake.
Chris & Ali are best of buggies
HERE is Declan Donnelly’s wife out walking their little one . . . and no, I don’t mean Ant McPartlin.
Ali who married the Geordie TV host in 2015, went for a stroll with Christine Lampard and their kids, both 21 months old.

Telly regular Christine has daughter Patricia with her hubby Frank, the Chelsea FC legend and current boss.
The tot is named after Frank’s late mother.
And Ali has daughter Isla with Dec.
I see what they’re doing: Starting them early to make a new TV duo.

Stars go walkies
EVERY other person on my Instagram feed seems to have bought or adopted a puppy during lockdown.
Television bosses have clearly spotted the trend and are keen to cash in on it.

I am told Channel 4 is working on a celebrity version of its heartwarming documentary series The Dog House.
That show pairs neglected dogs with potential owners who are desperate for a pooch.
This celeb version will raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.
Meanwhile, Britain’s most famous dog-lover – other than The Queen, of course – is back for further uplifting antics at South London’s Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
Paul O’Grady is making a three-part special in which he goes back to meet some of the animals previously featured in his long-running ITV series For The Love Of Dogs.
But remember, everyone: A puppy is for life, not just for lockdown . . .

BAKE Off finalist Kim-Joy Hewlett is judging a baking contest for the Cats Protection charity.
She said: “My rescue cats sit with me when I compose recipes or bake, then rip up the kitchen roll when my back is turned.”
Jack got Crosse ‘n’ bothered
SPORTING prowess is not something that comes to mind when I think of Jack Whitehall.
But the comedian makes up for his athletic shortcomings with plenty of enthusiasm.

From July 10, he will host Jack Whitehall’s Sporting Nation on BBC1, looking back at beloved British underdogs and great champions.
The show will cover six themes that unite fans.
His attempts to wow at school in PE didn’t give Jack much to crow about, unlike his idol David Beckham.
Jack said: “I started up a lacrosse team to try and get into the first team but too many people joined up.
“I couldn’t even get into the first team of the sports team that I had set up.”
It’s all right, Jack. You can’t be good at everything.

Jason’s a Tiger fan
I’M glad JASON Manford has been avidly reading The Sun in lockdown.
After I told how Tiger King’s Carole Baskin is set to take part in this year’s I’m A Celebrity, the comic says he’s now tempted too.

Talking about my story on his Absolute Radio show, Jason said: “If Carole Baskin ends up in the jungle, I might sign up.”
